The final date for filing assessment appeals with the Board of Review for Lisle Township will be November 8, 2021.
Change of assessment Notices were mailed on Wednesday October 6th. 2021.

2020 Exemption Updates
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Public Act 101-0635 was recently signed into law. This act allows the automatic renewal of 2019 senior freeze, disabled veteran, and disabled persons exemptions for the 2020 assessment year – without a renewal form from the taxpayer. DuPage County will be sending a letter to all the 2019 applicants of these exemptions explaining that a renewal is not required for 2020. We hope that these changes can help keep our most vulnerable residents safe and healthy.
If you had the senior freeze on the 2019 tax bill issued this year, there is no need to fill out a renewal form for this year. Those will automatically be rolled over to the 2020 tax year.
If you have not had a senior freeze previously, and are signing up for the first time, you will need to fill out the application this year. We are currently open by appointment only, so please call our office to schedule a visit (630-968-1183). In order to keep our employees and residents safe, the visitor’s area is disinfected after each appointment. We kindly ask that you wear a mask during the visit.
DuPage County Tax Payment Information
DuPage County has announced a program that will waive late fees and charges on first-installment Property Tax payments for taxpayers impacted by COVID-19.
Applications for this program must be submitted to DuPage County.
Important Note: Interest penalties for late payments of the first installment of property taxes, which are due June 1, will be postponed until Sept. 1 for property owners who meet certain criteria. Payments made any time until Sept. 1 will be considered timely. If the payment of the first installment is made after Sept. 1, penalties will revert to June 1.
